Safety on the Trail

The Marshal's Code

Gambling should be a saloon entertainment, not a lifestyle-ending standoff.

Marshal Notice

High-stakes draws can be addictive. If you feel that the standoff is affecting your life negatively, please signal for help immediately. You are not riding alone, and support is available at every outpost.

Signs of Standoff Fatigue

  • Betting more than your stash allows.
  • Ignoring your posse, work, or camp duties.
  • Chasing lost bounties with higher stakes.
  • Liquidation of gear to fund the duel.
  • Lying to the marshal about your draws.
  • Feeling hollow or anxious after the standoff.

Trail Rules for Safe Draws

Set A Stash

Define your gambling budget before you enter the saloon.

Check The Clock

Don't let the sunset catch you still at the reels.

Walk Away

Accept lost gold as the cost of the duel, never chase.

Rest Your Hand

Step outside the saloon regularly to clear your vision.
